travel north america united states florida walt disney world theme parks animal kingdom africa discovery island flame tree bbq

The Flame Tree Barbecue on Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom is possibly the best quick service restaurant in all of Disney World.
Food is ordered at a counter and then can be taken into some beautiful gardens adjacent where there are picnic tables both outside and under open "gazebos."
Some seating is waterfront overlooking the river and Mt. Everest beyond.
The barbecued ribs and chicken are excellent as well as some very good salads and desserts.
Expecially if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, this is an excellent value.
My favorite spot to lunch.
